TRIO OF TERROR

The loose-knit villain group known as the Trio of Terror got its start when a mysterious individual approached Black Flash and asked him to do a job. The son of the notorious art thief Shadow Master, Black Flash was looking for a way to live up to his father's image and this looked like a lot better than just robbing 7-11's and gas stations.

After going over the plans presented to him, Black Flash realized that he would need some muscle. Going over his fathers old notes he found information on the original Igneous. Unfortunately, Igneous was long retired but his son had inherited some of his powers. Igneous II was more then willing to pick up where his father left off and followed Black Flash around like the loyal lap dog he was.

Their mysterious benefactor wanted them to break into a local high school and steel a science project from the science fair being held there. He told them it was a device that turned lead into gold--he lied. The two fledgling villains and their four hired thugs failed to find the device in question, however they did find a local group of heroes who were more then willing to teach them the error of their ways.

A short stint in jail later, the duo was bailed out by their boss and introduced to their newest member, Ember. Ember was the son of long-time Crusader1 member Blizzard2, who unlike dad had fallen into a life of crime. Embers fire powers gave the trio the boost it needed and their patron named them the Trio Of Terror until he could "Think of something better to call them."

Their patron then sent them in to the low rent suburbs of Angel City on a brand new mission. . .
